1 T. baking soda 1 cup oleo (butter) 1 cup white sugar 2 t vanilla 1 cup milk 4 eggs 1 cup flour 1.5 cups chopped pecans 1 cup chocolate chips Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs. Beat well. Add cocoa, flour, nuts and chips. pour into a greased cake pan. Bake 40 to 45 mins (300-350). Frost with chocolate frosting.
